In May 2015 at km 41 of the Strada Regionale 10, in the descent from Dusino San Michele to Villafranca d'Asti, a plaque was inaugurated in memory of Giorgio Faletti, a famous artist and writer from Asti who died in 2014.

The plaque shows the excerpt of one of Faletti's most appreciated songs, “Signor tenente”, presented at the 1994 Sanremo Festival, finishing in second place and winning the Critics Award:
“... ed in costante contatto radio, abbiamo preso la provinciale ed al km 41 presso la casa cantoniera”  are the words reported on the plate installed at km 41 of the strada statale 10, next to the renovated road house, cited by Faletti.

The initiative was promoted by the Villanova d'Asti Lions Club.

The song is a clear reference to the mafia-style massacres carried out in Capaci and via D'Amelio (Palermo) against Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino in which they lost their life, in addition to the magistrates, the respective escort agents and Falcone's wife.

Faletti wrote the piece of music to denounce the precarious working conditions of Italian law enforcement agencies and to pay homage to them for the great daily commitment to the service of citizenship.

Giorgio Faletti rests in the municipal cemetery of Asti.
